Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha combines two of the season’s best loved flavors to offer consumers a new way to enjoy the delicious taste of Kahlúa while providing retailers an opportunity to increase category profitability during the most critical selling period of the year.
Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha is a luxurious balance of 100% Arabica coffee beans shade-grown in the Veracruz region of Mexico, combined with cool peppermint and the decadent taste of dark chocolate derived from the finest cocoa beans. Consumers overwhelmingly agreed that Peppermint Mocha stands out as a unique offering that is ‘just right for the holiday season’ while staying true to the Kahlúa character and Kahlúa’s core offering: bold flavors and smooth, delicious taste.
Nash added, “The October through December months are the most critical selling period for flavored liqueurs when sales can be as much as four times that of the balance of the year. This holiday season Kahlúa is increasing investment to support retail sales growth of the limited edition Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha as well as the full family of Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur products. Kahlúa is supporting the limited release of Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha with custom-designed merchandising and POS materials and sampling where legal.
Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha (20% ABV) will be available at retail October 1 through December 31 and will retail for a suggested price of $17.99/750ml.
